Summer break book contemplations: Books to read again

I am taking a summer technology break, so I have pre-scheduled some posts. I’ll be back in August with reviews of the books I read on my holidays.

Huff Post Books asked libraries which of the books in their collections get read over and over again.

The top ten won’t surprise you. You will likely have re-read at least portions of at least one of the books on the list.

  1. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
  2. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
  3. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
  4. Shakespeare‘s Collected Works
  5. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  6. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  7. The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
  8. Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
  9. Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne
  10. The Color Purple by Alice Walker

What books do you turn to again and again?
